The product contains perfluorocarboxylic acid related compounds (PFCAs) and an excessive quantity of perfluorooctanoic-acid-related compounds (PFOAs) (measured values up to 463.4 mg/kg and 302.5 μg/kg, respectively). PFCAs bio-accumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment, while PFOAs are carcinogenic and pose a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation not with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Regulation.
